Devlog 1: Running Start!
Hello, everybody! Welcome to our first official devlog of "For Thee, My Kingdom".
The game is finally live, rejoice! We know we certainly are doing some very much needed celebration, after seven long months of development.
As for the current state of the game, what can you expect to see if you download it right now and get to playing?
An almost fully completed chapter one for our first campaign, as far as dialogue and interactions go, with corresponding good and bad outcomes for fulfilling or not the targets given to you at the start by good ol' Melinda.
Get to experience the tale of Leonard, the laziest enforcer on the city, and prepare for the madness soon to come with the upcoming updates, with multiple routes, new characters, loads and loads of fresh content and more!
Our focus for the month of april now that we've released the game will be to finish the remaining work on the core features, like the combat skills and equipment, the ability to focus an enemy during combat, to mention some, as well as some further spicing up of the investigation events.
Added to that, the introduction of likely 1 or 2 new questlines to the chapter which should formally close it.
The work on polishing and filling up the graphic placeholders will continue apace and is expected to be done in two months.
Which would leave us with all the time on our hands to dedicate ourselves fully towards furthering the story and giving more artful flair to both characters and scenes alike.
On the future we'll be making a more precise breakdown of the changelog for you folks, but I think we've spoken enough for today.
Give the game a try and tell us what you think!
Any features or improvement you would like to see implemented as well as any nasty bugs you want us to squash. We're all ears, dear friends.
Hugs, The Thunderbit Team.
